Organizations should ensure that the EDR tool they choose can smoothly integrate with their existing stack. Since endpoint security does not cover all possible threats, it should be integrated with additional security tools.

Integration – EDR solutions extend visibility into endpoints by collecting and aggregating data.

However, the following features are typically provided by most vendors:

Firewall: In the SEP SBE client, in the right sidebar, click either Enable Firewall.EDR capabilities often vary between vendors.

Antivirus: In the SEP SBE client, in the right sidebar, click Enable Antivirus.

To enable Antivirus or Firewall components in the client (when disabled)

Under Groups, check the appropriate group to assign the policy to that group.

Under Network Protection, enable User can disable Firewall.

Under Computer Protection, enable User can disable Antivirus.
